أعلنت مجموعة بريد الإمارات أنها ستطلق شركتها الجديدة "فينتكس"، الشركة المتخصصة في التكنولوجيا المالية للمجموعة، خلال معرض "جيتكس جلوبال 2022" الذي سيُقام في دبي من 10 إلى 14 أكتوبر، حيث ستستعرض الشركة الجديدة من خلال مشاركتها في المعرض استراتيجيتها وخدماتها وتطلعاتها المستقبلية.

وتهدف الشركة الجديدة إلى تأسيس منظومة مطورة وفعالة للتكنولوجيا المالية من خلال التحول الرقمي لشركات الخدمات المالية الحالية التابعة لمجموعة بريد الإمارات، إلى جانب إطلاق المشاريع الجديدة ذات الخدمات والمنتجات المتميزة وبناء الشراكات الاستراتيجية مع أبرز المؤسسات والشركات الناشئة.

وستمتلك "فينتكس" وتشرف وتحول شركات الخدمات المالية القائمة التابعة لمجموعة بريد الإمارات، والتي تشمل مركز وول ستريت للصرافة ذ.م.م، وهي شركة صرافة في الإمارات العربية المتحدة تم تأسيسها منذ عام 1982، وشركة "إنستانت كاش م.م.ح"، شركة عالمية لتحويل الأموال تأسست منذ عام 2004.

وقال **أحمد محمد العوضي، العضو المنتدب والرئيس التنفيذي لشركة "فينتكس"**: “ستعمل فينتكس كحاضنة للابتكار في مجال التكنولوجيا المالية. ونهدف من خلال الشركة الجديدة إلى إنشاء منظومة فريدة من نوعها في مجال التكنولوجيا المالية وتعزيز تنوع وجودة الخدمات المالية التي تقدمها الشركات الحالية التي نشرف عليها والمشاريع المشتركة الجديدة التي نقوم بإنشائها. كما أننا نسعى إلى تحقيق النجاح والنمو في مجال التكنولوجيا المالية من خلال الاستفادة من قاعدة عملائنا القوية وخبرتنا الواسعة في الخدمات المالية الممتدة لعقود عبر شبكتنا المحلية والدولية الواسعة، وذلك بما يتماشى مع رؤيتنا لدفع عجلة النمو الاقتصادي المستدام".

كما يتوقع أن تقوم "فينتكس" بتنويع محفظة الشركات التابعة لمجموعة بريد الإمارات من خلال ترسيخ تواجدها في قطاع التكنولوجيا المالية. وستركز الشركة الجديدة على بناء منظومة فعالة بالإضافة إلى توفير بيئة مناسبة لتكامل جميع أنواع خدمات التكنولوجيا المالية. كما ستوفر للمستثمرين وحاضنات الأعمال والمبتكرين منصة للتعاون وإنشاء الخدمات المالية الرقمية المستقبلية، في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة وخارجها.

Emirates Post Group announced that it will launch its new fintech arm ‘FINTX’ during GITEX Global 2022, which will be held in Dubai from October 10-14. During Fintech Surge within GITEX, the new company will showcase to the public its new strategy, services, and ambitions for the future.

The new company is focused on establishing an enhanced and effective fintech eco-system through transforming its existing financial services companies, in addition to launching new ventures with compelling product offerings and building strategic partnerships with established companies and start-ups.

FINTX will own, oversee, and transform the existing financial services companies of Emirates Post Group, which includes Wall Street Exchange Centre LLC, and Instant Cash FZE. Wall Street Exchange Centre LLC is an exchange house in the UAE established since 1982, and Instant Cash FZE is a global money transfer operator established since 2004.

**Ahmed Mohamed Al Awadi, Managing Director and CEO of FINTX said**: “FINTX will act as an incubator for fintech innovation. Through the newly established company, we aim to create a one-of-a-kind fintech eco-system and elevate the diversity and quality of the financial services provided by the existing companies we oversee, and new ventures we create. We intend to leverage our robust customer base and the extensive record of financial expertise spanning decades across our wide local and international network, to drive the success of the company.”

FINTX is further expected to diversify Emirates Post Group’s portfolio by expanding its footprint within the fintech industry. The new company will focus on building an efficient fintech eco-system as well as provide a suitable setting for the synergy of all types of financial technology services. It will also provide a platform for investors, incumbents, and innovators to collaborate and create the digital financial services of the future, for the UAE and beyond.

The inaugural event was held at Emirates Post Group headquarters in Dubai with Anchanto, a multinational SaaS technology firm that enables multichannel selling and eCommerce logistics, as the partner sponsor.

Emirates Post Group (EPG) has signed a sponsorship agreement with FinTech Hive - the first and largest financial technology hub in the region and part of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) - to promote the first sprint this year of its FinTech accelerator programme, ‘HIVE 22.’ The agreement, signed by Abdulla Mohammed Alashram, Group CEO of Emirates Post Group and Raja Al Mazrouei, Executive Vice President of DIFC FinTech Hive named EPG as the ‘Logistics Partner’ of the programme.

EPGs participation in the Fintech Hive accelerator program as the 'Logistics Partner,' demonstrates the groups vision towards enabling access into innovative technology solutions that will shape and further enhance the customer journey and widens the spectrum of technology co- creation amongst different players across the group.  The selected startups will get access to a broader network of industry players that will enable innovative co-creation of technology solutions. The initiative welcomes a large number of forward-thinking start-ups and will pave the way for a prosperous future.

وتستهدف الشراكة التركيز على تعزيز التعاون والتواصل بين "مجموعة بريد الإمارات" والشركات الناشئة في Hub71 للاستفادة من حلول التكنولوجيا والارتقاء بمستوى كفاءة وإنتاجية قطاع الخدمات اللوجستية. وبموجب هذه الاتفاقية، تلتزم "مجموعة بريد الإمارات" بتوفير الإرشاد لمؤسسي الشركات الناشئة، فضلاً عن تقديم الدعم اللازم لتطوير تطبيقات ريادية جديدة. وستتاح للشركات الناشئة المدعومة من "مجموعة بريد الإمارات" الفرصة كي تصبح جزءاً فعّالاً في مجتمع Hub71 الحيوي.

The partnership will focus on active collaborations with startups based at Hub71 and will facilitate meetings and introductions between EPG and founders who are driving smart businesses focused on increasing efficiency and productivity within the logistics industry. As part of the agreement, EPG will also provide mentorship for startup founders and support the development of Proof of Concepts (POCs). EPG-backed startups will also gain the ability to join Hub71’s vibrant community.

 

Backed by the Government of Abu Dhabi and Mubadala Investment Company, Hub71 is growing its vibrant community of tech startups, investors, government, and corporate partners to ensure the availability of investment, commercial activities, and incentives from the public and private sectors.  It enables founders to build globally enduring homegrown tech companies in any sector.

 

His Excellency Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of Hub71, said: “Abu Dhabi has established itself as a global innovation and logistics hub, supported an enabling business ecosystem and by robust partnerships. Hub71’s partnership with EPG will support the transformation of the logistics sector, offering startups the opportunity to collaborate with an industry leader and drive mutually beneficial commercial growth.”

Both organisations will foster knowledge-transfer platforms to upskill entrepreneurs operating at Hub71.

وأطلق عبد الله محمد الأشرم، الرئيس التنفيذي لـ "مجموعة بريد الإمارات"، الطابع التذكاري بتقديمه إلى سعادة سنجاي سودهير، سفير جمهورية الهند لدى دولة الإمارات، خلال زيارته للمقر الرئيسي للمجموعة في إمارة دبي.

 

وتأتي هذه الخطوة في ظل ازدهار التعاون الثنائي بين البلدين الصديقين، والذي تُوِّج مؤخراً بتوقيع اتفاقية تاريخية لإطلاق شراكة ثنائية شاملة تهدف إلى توطيد العلاقات الاقتصادية والتجارية بين الدولتين، وذلك من خلال تعزيز مجتمع الأعمال، ودعم جهود التنويع الاقتصادي وخطط التنمية المُستدامة التي تقودها حكومتا البلدين.

 

وقال سعادة سنجاي سودهير، سفير جمهورية الهند لدى دولة الإمارات: "إن 2022 عامٌ مميزٌّ لدولة الإمارات وجمهورية الهند، إذ أتمَّت خلاله دولة الإمارات احتفالاتها بـ "عام الخمسين"، في حين تُحيي خلاله الهند الذكرى الخامسة والسبعين للاستقلال، إلى جانب احتفاء الدولتين بخمسين عاماً من العلاقات الدبلوماسية المتينة. ويجسد الطابع البريدي التذكاري عقوداً طويلة من التعاون الوثيق والشراكة الاستراتيجية بين الإمارات والهند، والتي تعود جذورها إلى تجارة التوابل واللؤلؤ قديماً، وتبلغ حالياً أعلى مستوياتها حيث يعيش أكثر من 3.4 مليون مواطن هندي في دولة الإمارات.  ويشيد هذا الطابع التذكاري بشعبي الإمارات والهند وسعيهما الدائم لإرساء دعائم الشراكة والتعاون، والتي نشهد ثمارها اليوم من خلال اتفاقية الشراكة الاستراتيجية الشاملة، والتي تمثل خطوةً جديدةً لتعزيز أواصر الصداقة والعمل المشترك."

The stamp was launched by Abdulla M. Alashram, Group CEO of Emirates Post Group when presenting H.E. Sunjay Sudhir, Ambassador of India to UAE, with the stamp during his visit to the Group’s headquarters in Dubai.

 

This initiative further promotes the ongoing bilateral collaboration between the two countries which was recently underpinned by the signing of a historical partnership agreement to strengthen economic and trade relations. The agreement will positively influence businesses and, support and promote diversification and government’s sustainable development strategies.

 

In celebration H.E. Sunjay Sudhir, Ambassador of India to UAE, said, "The year 2022 is very important for both India and the UAE as India is celebrating 75 years of its independence, just recently UAE has concluded the celebration of the Year of 50 and this is also the 50 years of the diplomatic relations between India and the UAE. This Stamp is a testimony of strong and deep historical relationship between India and the UAE that go back centuries from the history of spice and pearl trade to today’s world when more than 3.4 million Indians have chosen to live in the UAE. It is also a tribute to the people of two countries as they are the backbone of our Partnership. Today, this historical relationship has transformed itself into a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, bringing the two countries and its people, closer than ever before.”

 

Commenting on the occasion, Abdulla M. Alashram, Group CEO of Emirates Post Group, said, “This joint commemorative stamp is aimed at promoting economic, commercial, cultural, and historical relations between the two countries, highlighting the half-century of strategic partnership that has flourished since the foundation of the UAE. With this initiative, we celebrate fifty years of achievements, as well as our contribution to UAE’s economic and social development. أبرم "بريد الإمارات"، المُشغل البريدي الرسمي والمزوّد الرائد لخدمات التوصيل السريع في دولة الإمارات، شراكة مع "مختبرات دانتي للأبحاث الطبية والجينية"، المختبرات الرائدة عالمياً في علم الجينات والطب الدقيق، وذلك لتسهيل توفير خدمات الجينات المتقدمة في جميع أنحاء الإمارات، تماشياً مع الرؤية الوطنية الرامية إلى إتاحة الاختبارات والتحاليل الطبية المتقدمة لجميع سكان الدولة.

تأتي هذه الشراكة عقب إطلاق عمليات مكتب "مختبرات دانتي" في الإمارات. وبموجب الشراكة الثنائية، سيتولى "بريد الإمارات" استلام معدات اختبار الجينات من "مختبرات دانتي" وتوصيلها إلى المتعاملين، فضلاَ عن تعيين مراكز إسعاد المتعاملين لدى بريد الإمارات كنقطة بيع وتسليم لهذه المعدات المتقدمة. ويوفر اختبار الجينات معلومات شخصية حول الصحة الشاملة للأفراد لتمكينهم من العيش بأسلوب حياة أكثر صحي.
