وبموجب الاتفاقية، سيتعاون الجانبان في توفير خدمات التوصيل برسوم منخفضة لمتعاملي النيابة العامة وعبر موقعها الإلكتروني، وتقديم حلول أكثر سرعة وسلاسة للمتعاملين، تشمل خيار استلام الطرود من أقرب مكتب بريد، وتوصيل الطرود إلى المنازل بمقابلٍ رمزي.

أكد راشد آل مالك، المحامي العام الأول بالنيابة العامة أن النيابة العامة تحرص دائماً على رفع كفاءة خدماتها باستمرار في كافة مراحلها، وأن الشراكة مع مجموعة بريد الإمارات تُعد إضافة جديدة لما يمكن أن تقدمه للمتعاملين في سبيل إسعادهم بشأن مرحلة توصيل الطلب، وأن خدمة التوصيل الجديدة تُقدم بأسعار منافسة وحصرية لمصلحة المتعاملين، وتتميز بالتنوع حسب رغبة المتعامل في أن يتسلم شحنته في المكان الذي يرغبه أو يتوجه بنفسه لاستلامه من أقرب مكتب بريد.

كما أعرب عن خطة النيابة العامة في تطوير مشروع التكامل الرقمي مع مجموعة بريد الإمارات لإضافة المزيد من عناصر الكفاءة والنجاح في منظومة الخدمات الرقمية التي تتميز بها نيابة رأس الخيمة.  

وأكَّد عبدالله الأشرم، الرئيس التنفيذي لمجموعة بريد الإمارات، أن اتفاقية التعاون تعكس رؤيةً مشتركة لتقديم الخدمات للمتعاملين عبر قنواتٍ مُيَّسرة، وتمثل نموذجاً لتضافُر الجهود والتعاون المثمر بين المؤسسات في سبيل تعزيز راحة ورفاهية المتعاملين وأفراد المجتمع عموماً.

وأضاف الأشرم: "يسرنا توقيع اتفاقية تعاون مع النيابة العامة في إمارة رأس الخيمة، لتوطيد أواصر التعاون فيما بيننا، وتوظيف إمكاناتنا في دعم هذه الشراكة وخدمة سكان الإمارة.  ونتطلع في مجموعة بريد الإمارات إلى تطوير الشراكات وقنوات التعاون مع المؤسسات والجهات الحكومية، حرصاً على رفع كفاءة منظومات العمل المشترك، وتوفير قنواتٍ تسهل حصول أفراد المجتمع على الخدمات الحكومية، بما يُسهم بترسيخ مكانة الدولة الرائدة عالمياً في كفاءة الحلول البريدية وسلاسة الخدمات والإجراءات اللوجستية."

Under the agreement, the Public Prosecution of Ras Al Khaimah will take advantage of Emirates Post Group’s extensive network to provide convenient and quick delivery services to its customers. Public Prosecution customers can book the receipt of their items via their website and choose to have them delivered to the nearest post office or to their home for a nominal fee.

Emphasising the Public Prosecution’s commitment to improving its quality of services at all stages, Rashid Al-Malik, Advocate-General of the Public Prosecution of Ras Al Khaimah, said: “The partnership with Emirates Post Group is a new step to guarantee customer satisfaction in delivery services. The services are offered at competitive and exclusive costs, allowing customers to choose locations as per their convenience to receive their packages.”

Al-Malik further shed light on the Public Prosecution’s agenda to further develop the digital integration project with Emirates Post Group, in addition to ensuring competency and success in digital services offered by the Public Prosecution of Ras Al Khaimah.

Abdulla Mohammed Alashram, Group CEO of Emirates Post Group asserted that the goal of this partnership is to foster a mutual vision of offering effective customer services through various convenient channels. It also reinforces the joint efforts between institutions to promote customer satisfaction and comfort.

Alashram added: “We are pleased to sign this agreement with the Public Prosecution of Ras Al Khaimah. Our aim is to strengthen collaboration the bonds of cooperation between us, and to employ our capabilities to support this partnership and serve the residents of the emirate. Emirates Post Group looks forward to developing more partnership opportunities with government entities and institutions. This partnership also reflects our commitment to promoting competency in mutual work systems and offering flexible means for receiving governmental services. This strategy will strengthen the UAE’s leading position in quality postal solutions and flexible logistic services.”

وقال بيتر سومرس، المدير التنفيذي لبريد الإمارات: "ستؤدي حلول الأعمال الجديدة إلى زيادة سرعة وسلاسة وفعالية تنفيذ الخدمات، وتوسيع نطاق الخيارات التي يتيحها بريد الإمارات للشركات. وتجمع هذه الحلول بين التكلفة التنافسية والكفاءة في تلبية متطلبات المتعاملين، كما وتعكس التزامنا بتوفير السبل الضامنة لنمو شركائنا وقطاع التجارة الإلكترونية باعتبارنا مزوداً رائداً للخدمات البريدية ولوجستيات التجارة الإلكترونية."    

وأضاف سومرس: "يسعدنا الكشف عن محفظة الخدمات والحلول الجديدة مع انطلاقة "سيملس الشرق الأوسط 2022"، المنصة الاستراتيجية لتلاقي الخبراء ضمن مُختلف القطاعات والمجالات، ورسم ملامح مستقبل تقنيات التجارة الإلكترونية. ونتطلع قُدُماً لمواصلة المشاركة في المعرض بدوراته المقبلة لمشاركة خبراتنا."

وسلط بريد الإمارات الضوء على الحلول الجديدة ضمن ثلاث فئات، وهي التجارة الإلكترونية والتحول الرقمي والاستدامة، والتي تندرج تحت مظلة منهجية "تطوُّر تجربة المتعاملين" لدى الشركة.

وتتضمن محفظة خدمات التجارة الإلكترونية الجديدة عدداً من الحلول، وهي خدمة الشحن الدولي "EcomPro" والتي تتيح إنجاز عملية النقل خلال مدة تتراوح بين 3 إلى 5 أيام بناءً على الوجهة، وبأسعار تنافسية. كما ستقدم الشركة حلول (خدمات التوصيل المحلي) لإنجاز التوصيل في نفس اليوم وفي اليوم التالي، بالإضافة إلى الحلول التي تتضمن خدمات إدارة التخزين والمستودعات والعمليات اللوجستية من استلام الطلبات إلى توصيل الشحنات، وذلك عن طريق مركز العمليات للشركة في دبي الجنوب، بالإضافة إلى خدمات تلبية الطلبات المحلية عبر الشبكة المحلية الواسعة في جميع أنحاء الدولة.

وفي مجال التحول الرقمي، أطلق بريد الإمارات EP Connect""، وهي منصةٌ جديدة تتيح للمتعاملين إدارة حساباتهم، وحجز الشحنات، وتتبُّع الطرود التابعة لهم وإدارة الفوترة، وغيرها من الخدمات لتسهّل على المتعاملين التواصل مع بريد الإمارات.

كما تتضمن فئة التحول الرقمي منظومةً متكاملة لرفع الكفاءة التشغيلية لبريد الإمارات وذلك من خلال العناصر المتكاملة لواجهة برمجة التطبيقات، وحلول الربط والتفعيل للمتعاملين في قطاع التجارة الإلكترونية، وتتيح استكشاف البرامج الروبوتية المتحركة والمستقلة لإدارة الطرود. وتعتبر هذه الحلول والارتقاء بجودة خدمات المتعاملين.   

وتأتي هذه الخطوات استكمالاً لنجاح "بريد الإمارات" في رَقمنة إجراءات انضمام المتعاملين الجدد خلال 24 ساعة من إنشاء حساباتهم لدى الشركة، حيث أصبحت هذه العملية أكثر سرعة وسلاسة، فضلاً عن كونها مُستدامة من خلال المعاملات اللاورقية.     

إلى ذلك، تمثل فئة الاستدامة إطاراً لجهود ومبادرات بريد الإمارات لحماية البيئة، والتي تشمل استخدام المواد المُعاد تدويرها في التعبئة والتغليف، والتحول تدريجياً نحو برنامج كهربة المركبات، والاعتماد على الوقود الحيوي كبديلٍ للوقود التقليدي.

كما يشارك بريد الإمارات في الجلسات الحوارية في معرض ومؤتمر "سيملس الشرق الأوسط 2022" وذلك خلال فعاليات اليوم الأول، حيث شارك سومرس في الجلسة النقاشية "إعادة تصميم رحلة المتعاملين في ظل المشهد العالمي الجديد للوجستيات". وفي اليوم الثاني للمعرض سيقدم سومرس عرضاً تحت عنوان "استراتيجية بريد الإمارات الجديدة لإشراك المتعاملين".

كما يشارك ستيفن ستانتون، المدير التنفيذي لأعمال الطرود والخدمات السريعة لدى بريد الامارات، خبراته خلال الجلسة النقاشية "الأفضلية التنافسية في حلول الميل الأخير: نجاح التوصيل من المحاولة الأولى."

Emirates Post, the official postal operator and leading express provider in the UAE, launched today (Tuesday, May 31, 2022), its latest range of advanced services as part of its broader customer-digital, and sustainability-focused strategies. 

The company unveiled the services during its participation at Seamless Middle East 2022 in Dubai. Its newly introduced portfolio of services will create a simplified customer engagement whilst boosting the local eCommerce sector and other economic sectors within the UAE that rely on postal and parcel services.

Peter Somers, CEO of Emirates Post, said: “The new business solutions will result in added convenience and faster more efficient delivery of services, as well as wider options for Emirates Post’s corporate customers. The implementation of our tailored and cost-efficient products reflect our relentless commitment to our stakeholders and the eCommerce industry. The move will strengthen our position as a leading postal and e-commerce logistics partner.”

Emirates Post has showcased the new solutions under three categories, ‘eCommerce,’ ‘Digitization,’ and ‘Sustainability’, all of which operate under the common theme ‘Evolution of Customer Experience.’

The new ‘E-Commerce’ service portfolio features a number of solutions including the cost-effective international shipping ‘EcomPro’ solution, which promises door to door transit time of three to five days depending on the destination; as well as ‘Domestic services’ which offer same-day and next-day domestic delivery options.

Another solution is their suite of ‘Fulfilment Solutions’ which comprise warehouse management and fulfilment services through the company’s facility in Dubai South along with localized micro fulfillment services via its customer centric hyper-local network across the UAE.  

Under the ‘Digitization’ category, Emirates Post has launched ‘EP Connect’, a new platform for corporate customers to manage their accounts, book shipments, keep track of their items, and manage invoicing, amongst many other features. This online and offline tool supports a seamless, convenient portal for corporate customers to interact with Emirates Post.

API (application programming interface) integrations and ‘Plug & Play’ solutions for corporate and e-commerce customers are also part of the ‘Digitization’ showcase, in addition to their Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) programme for parcel sortation. This back-end solution will further Emirates Post’s operational efficiency, thus enabling the company to better serve its customers.

Emirates Post has also fully digitized customer onboarding to enhance onboarding within 24 hours of account opening. The process is faster, more convenient, and more efficient and has a sustainability aspect as it promotes paperless transactions.

Last but not least is Emirates Post Sustainability’ strategy. This category features the organisation’s environmental focus, including the use of recyclable materials for its packaging, a fleet electrification programme, and the planned use of biofuels instead of regular fuel.

“We are delighted to debut these services at the premier Seamless 2022, which convened industry leaders and like-minded peers. We look forward to participating in the event’s future editions to once again share our expertise with attendees,” Somers added.  

Somers is one of the forum’s high-profile speakers this year. On the first day, he joined a panel discussion titled ‘Re-Mapping the Customer Journey in the New Logistics World.’ He will also give a keynote speech titled ‘How Emirates Post Is Reimagining Its Customer Engagement Strategy’ on day two of the event.

Stephen Stanton, Chief Business Officer, Emirates Post’s Parcels and Express unit, is also a speaker, sharing his expertise during a panel on day two titled ‘Gaining Competitive Differentiation Through the Last-Mile Approach: Achieving First-Time Success in Product Delivery.’

Emirates Post, the official postal operator and leading express provider in the UAE, has been awarded the ‘Amazon Best Carrier of the Year 2021’ in MENA region by Amazon, the company’s last-mile delivery solution partner.

The award comes in recognition of Emirates Post’s service, performance, collaboration, and transparency, in addition to the ease of communication between the dedicated teams at Emirates Post and Amazon. أعلن "بريد الإمارات"، المشغل البريدي الرسمي في دولة الإمارات والمزوّد الرائد لخدمات التوصيل السريع، عن استضافة "المؤتمر العالمي للبريد والتوصيل السريع لـ أوروبا والشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا" في 11 و12 مايو 2022، في إمارة دبي.

وسيشهد المؤتمر مشاركة أكثر من 200 من كبار المسؤولين التنفيذيين و30 متحدثاً من الخبراء، بهدف تسليط الضوء على الأدوات والاستراتيجيات التي تتيح لروّاد القطاع بناء شركات أكثر مرونة وجاهزية للمستقبل، واستعراض أحدث التوجهات في قطاعات التجارة الإلكترونية والبريد. وتعتبر هذه الاستضافة الثانية للإمارات لهذا المؤتمر الدولي، بعد تنظيمه لأول مرة في الدولة عام 2005.

يتضمن جدول أعمال اليوم الأول من المؤتمر عدة جلساتٍ نقاشية حول المواضيع ذات الاهتمام العالمي. وتشمل هذه الجلسات "الآفاق البريدية الكبرى"، بمشاركة روّاد القطاع البريدي من أوروبا والشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا، لتقديم عرضٍ شامل حول التوجهات البريدية بين الماضي والحاضر والمستقبل. كما ستقام في اليوم الأول جلسة أخرى بعنوان "رفع إنتاجية الأعمال العابرة للحدود لتعزيز تجربة التجارة الإلكترونية"، حيث تركز على الدور الذي تلعبه شركات النقل في تطوير الكفاءات لضمان رضا العملاء والمستهلكين.

وسيناقش المشغلون وشركات تسهيل الأعمال واقع الأنشطة العابرة للحدود من المنظورين الجمركي والتنظيمي، وأبرز التحديات والحلول في هذا الصدد، وذلك خلال جلسة تحت عنوان "المعوقات الجمركية للأنشطة العابرة للحدود".

كما ستتخلل فعاليات اليوم جلسات أخرى بمحاور مختلفة، من ضمنها "تعزيز نمو التجارة الإلكترونية الدولية عبر البيانات"؛ و"الابتكار لرفع كفاءة النقل عبر الحدود"؛ و"التحديات التكنولوجية للنقل عبر الحدود"؛ و"حلول واجهة برمجة التطبيقات"؛ و"إعادة هيكلة التجارة العابرة للحدود من خلال حلول الذكاء الاصطناعي"؛ و"كيفية مواءمة استراتيجية التسعير لمواجهة التضخم".

برنامج اليوم الثاني: التحول البريدي

وسيركز المؤتمر في ثاني أيامه على مناقشة سُبُل إحداث التحول ضمن قطاع البريد ونقل الطرود لاستشراف العقبات وتجاوز انقطاعات العمليات، إلى جانب كيفية تقديم خدمات استثنائية للعملاء عن طريق تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي وتوسيع نطاق تطبيقات الهواتف الذكية، والاستعانة بحلول التكنولوجيا المتقدمة.

وتشمل جلسات اليوم الثاني: "تحقيق مُخرجات ناجحة عبر التنسيق مع الأفراد وتوظيف التكنولوجيا الجديدة لتسريع عملية توصيل الميل الأخير"؛ كيفية التحول إلى شركةٍ رائدة وقائمة على التكنولوجيا"؛ و"كفاءة وخبرات التجارة الإلكترونية"؛ و"تأثير توجهات العملاء على لوجستيات التجارة الإلكترونية"؛ و"تمهيد طريق الاستدامة".

كما سيستعرض الخبراء الاستراتيجيات والممارسات المستدامة بهدف تحفيز شبكةٍ أوسع من شركات النقل والإمداد على تبني حلول مبتكرة ومستدامة، والاستثمار في تطويرها لإرساء دعائم قطاع بريدي صديق للبيئة.

ومن المقرر أن يختتم المؤتمر فعالياته بنقاشات حول التوجهات والتحديات التي تلقي بظلالها على قطاع التجارة الإلكترونية في 2022، والدور الذي تلعبه أتمتة سلاسل الإمداد في تطوير وإعادة تصميم القطاع.

Emirates Post, the official postal operator and leading express provider in the UAE, will host the World Mail & Express Europe Middle East & Africa (WMX EMEA) conference from May 11 to May 12, 2022, in Dubai.

The two-day conference, which will be attended by over 200 global executives and feature more than 30 expert speakers, aims to give industry players the tools to build flexible and future-proof companies by deliberating and understanding the latest trends in the e-commerce and postal sectors. The last time the WMX conference took place in the UAE was in 2005.

As one of the speakers, Peter Somers, CEO of Emirates Post, will outline major industry trends, the growth of e-commerce in the region and Emirates Post’s capabilities: “The postal and parcel industry has been witnessing a significant shift over the years with technology and e-commerce being amongst the driving forces behind this change. The timing of the event could not be better, with Emirates Post continuously stepping up its efforts to strengthen its status as the Middle East’s leading postal and e-commerce logistics partner. Hosting the WMX EMEA not only reflects this commitment but will enable us to also help advance the ever-evolving global postal and parcel industry in today’s digital age.”  

Day 1 program: Global trends impacting the industry

The first day of the event will witness several discussions on issues of global importance. The session titled ‘The Big Postal Perspectives’ will feature postal leaders from Europe, the Middle East and Africa, who will provide a top-down perspective on past, present and future trends.

The day will also include a session titled ‘Maximising Cross-border Productivity to Progress the eCommerce Experience.’ It will focus on how carriers can develop greater efficiencies to ensure outstanding customer satisfaction.

Meanwhile, operators and facilitators from EMEA will tackle the insights, regulations, challenges, and solutions that accompany cross-border and customs activities during a session themed ‘Navigating cross-border and Customs Obstacles.’

Other sessions during day one will include ‘Unlocking Global eCommerce Growth Through the Power of Data;’ ‘Driving Innovation to Optimise cross-border Efficiency;’ ‘Technology Problem of cross-border;’ ‘API as a solution;’ ‘Reshaping cross-border Trade with AI-based Solutions;’ and ‘How to Adapt Your Pricing Strategy to Face High Inflation.’

Day 2 program: Postal transformation

On the second day, the conference will commence by exploring how the postal and parcel industry can transform to anticipate and overcome disruptions. It will also examine how stakeholders can exploit changes by leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and expanding mobile functionality and other technological capabilities to ensure customers receive exceptional service.

This will be followed by these sessions: ‘Achieving Successful Outcomes by Coordinating with People and Disruptive Technologies to Accelerate last-mile Delivery;’ ‘Transformation to Technology Savvy Trendsetters;’ ‘eCommerce Experience and Efficiency;’ ‘How Consumer Behaviour Impacts eCommerce Logistics;’ and ‘Sustainability - Paving the way.’

Experts will also highlight sustainable strategies and practices to help encourage a wider network of logistics companies to invest in and adopt innovative solutions towards sustainability, and optimistically create a more environment-friendly industry.

The conference will end with discussions on e-commerce trends and challenges in 2022 and how supply chain automation is shaking up the industry.

The delegation led by Honourable Secretary MD Khalilur Rahman visited the Emirates Post Dubai Exchange Centre to get acquainted with its innovative systems and explore the importance of automation technologies in improving the efficiency and reliability of distribution processes in postal and logistic services. The two sides affirmed their keenness to expand the areas of bilateral cooperation and to enhance the exchange of experiences.

حازت دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة على المرتبة الثانية عالمياً والأولى إقليمياً عن فئة الأداء المتميز في خدمات البريد العاجل الدولي لعام 2021، حيث تم اختيارها من بين الدول الـ 192 الأعضاء في الاتحاد البريدي العالمي وذلك خلال اجتماع الجمعية العامة للاتحاد، والذي عُقد في مدينة برن السويسرية.

وأعلنت "مجموعة بريد الإمارات" عن تحقيق هذا الإنجاز الهام، من خلال التقرير الذي أصدره الاتحاد البريدي العالمي، المنظمة المتخصصة التابعة للأمم المتحدة والتي تشكل المنتدى الرئيسي للتعاون بين أهم ممثلي القطاع البريدي. كما حققت دولة الإمارات المرتبة الثانية عن فئة أفضل أداء لخدمات البريد العاجل الدولي، حيث تلت السلفادور التي حققت المرتبة الأولى، وتفوقت على كل من فيتنام وأوكرانيا وقطر التي حققت المراكز الخمس الأولى.

وجاء هذا الإنجاز بعد تقييمٍ شمل دولة الإمارات والدول الأخرى الأعضاء في الاتحاد، وتضمن 16 مؤشرٍ من مؤشرات الأداء الأساسية، بما فيها نسبة الالتزام بمواعيد التوصيل؛ ومؤشر أداء الالتزام بمواعيد الإرسال؛ وجودة استجابة خدمة المتعاملين؛ ومؤشر أداء الالتزام بمواعيد التصدير؛ ومؤشر أداء الالتزام بمواعيد النقل، وغيرها.

وتقديراً لجهود الدولة المتواصلة لتعزيز الابتكار في العمليات البريدية، وتلبية أعلى المعايير الدولية في التميز والجودة، نالت الإمارات المركز الثالث عالمياً عن فئة خدمة المتعاملين في خدمات البريد العاجل الدولي، وذلك خلال الجمعية العامة للاتحاد البريدي العالمي. 

ومَنَح الاتحاد هذا المركز المتقدم في فئة خدمة المتعاملين لدولة الإمارات نظراً لتميز أدائها في عددٍ من المؤشرات، ومن أبرزها سرعة وفعالية الاستجابة لاستفسارات المتعاملين الواردة، ومواصلة الابتكار على صعيد الحلول والعمليات لضمان سعادة المتعاملين.

وقال عبدالله محمد الأشرم، الرئيس التنفيذي لـ "مجموعة بريد الإمارات": "يعكس تحقيق دولة الإمارات مراكز متقدمة عالمياً في خدمات البريد العاجل الدولي عن فئتي الأداء المتميز وخدمة المتعاملين ثقة المجتمع الدولي بالجهود المستمرة التي تقودها "مجموعة بريد الإمارات" لتطوير بنى تحتية وأنظمة بريدية ولوجستية متقدمة تلبيةً لمتطلبات سكان الدولة. وتضع مجموعتنا خدمة المتعاملين في محور أعمالها، فهي المحرك الذي يدفعنا للابتكار والسعي لتحقيق أعلى مستويات الجودة في الأداء والسرعة في الخدمات، وضمان سعادة ورضا المتعاملين. ونفخر بالإنجازات الهامة التي حققتها الدولة والتكريم الذي حظيت به من قبل الاتحاد البريدي العالمي، ونرى فيه مؤشراً على نجاح مبادراتنا وتأثيراتها الإيجابية على مسيرة دولة الإمارات نحو التفوق العالمي في جميع المجالات."

ويذكر أن دولة الإمارات تعد من الأعضاء المؤسسين للاتحاد البريدي العالمي. وفازت الدولة عام 2021 باستضافة النسخة الثامنة والعشرين من المؤتمر البريدي العالمي، والتي ستُقام في دبي عام 2025.

The United Arab Emirates placed second amongst the 192 member countries of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) and first regionally for outstanding international express mail service (EMS) performance for 2021. The country’s ranking was announced during the UPU’s general assembly held in Bern, Switzerland.

This latest achievement was revealed by Emirates Post Group, the UAE’s representative to the UPU, a specialised United Nations agency and the primary forum for cooperation between postal sector players. The UAE came in after first place El Salvador and was followed by Vietnam, Ukraine, and Qatar in the top five.    

The UAE and other UPU member countries were evaluated and scored based on 16 key performance indicators (KPIs), which included on-time delivery percentage, on-time transmission performance, customer service response quality, on-time export performance, and on-time transport performance, amongst others. 

Furthermore, for its continuous efforts to innovate and meet the international industry’s standards of excellence and quality, the UAE landed third in the world for customer care during the general assembly’s ‘International Express Mail Services Customer Service Award.’

In ranking the UAE high in the customer care department, the union cited the country’s timely and quality response to incoming customer inquiries, as well as continuous innovation of its solutions and processes to ensure customer happiness.

Our country’s latest achievements at the UPU’s general assembly indicate that our initiatives are yielding dividends and positively impacting the UAE’s journey towards becoming the world’s best nation on all fronts.”

The UAE is one of the founding members of the UPU. In 2021, the UAE won its bid to host the 28th edition of the UPU Congress to be held in Dubai in 2025.
