التزاماً منها بضمان أعلى مستويات موثوقية معاملات الدفع الآمن، دعت "بريد الإمارات" المتعاملين إلى استخدام موقعها الإلكتروني الرسمي (emiratespost.ae)، وتطبيق الهاتف المحمول عند إجراء عمليات الدفع الإلكتروني عبر شبكة الإنترنت لتسديد رسوم الشحنات ومنتجات التجزئة. وتأتي هذه الخطوة في إطار الجهود الحثيثة والمستمرة التي تبذلها الشركة لحماية المتعاملين من مخاطر الوصول إلى بوابات الدفع الرقمي غير القانونية، والتي تمثل جزءاً من مخططات الاحتيال الإلكتروني.

وشددت بريد الامارات على أهمية توخي الحذر لكافة سكان الدولة عند إجراء المدفوعات، وبالأخص عبر رسائل البريد الإلكتروني والرسائل النصية القصيرة التي تدّعي أنها من "بريد الإمارات"، حيث تقوم بتوفير روابط إلكترونية لنظام دفع تابع لجهة خارجية أو تحفيز المتعاملين على إنشاء حسابات وإجراء مدفوعات مقابل تسليم شحناتهم. وأكّدت الشركة بأنّها، ومن الآن فصاعداً، لن تقوم بإطلاق أي رسالة نصية أو رسالة عبر البريد إلكتروني لربط المتعاملين ببوابة دفع إلكتروني خارج موقعها الإلكتروني الرسمي. ويتم تذكير المتعاملين بضرورة التحقق على الدوام من العنوان الإلكتروني للجهة المرسلة، مع الامتناع عن الكشف عن أيه بيانات خاصة أو معلومات شخصية. كما وتواصل الشركة مراقبة هذه الأنشطة غير المشروعة، وتطالب كافة فئات المجتمع بالإبلاغ عن أية رسائل مشبوهة على الفور ليتم اتخاذ الإجراءات المناسبة من قبل السلطات المختصة.

To ensure safe and secure payment transactions, Emirates Post has advised customers to only use the company’s official website emiratespost.ae and mobile application when making online payments for shipments and retail products. The reminder comes as part of its ongoing efforts to protect customers from accessing unauthorized payment gateways posed by fraudulent online schemes.

It warned UAE residents to exercise extreme caution when making the payments, especially from emails and messages claiming to be from Emirates Post and providing links to a third-party payment system or enticing customers to create accounts and make payments to get their shipments delivered. Moving forward, Emirates Post will never send any SMS or email that links customers to a payment gateway outside their website and customers are reminded to always check the sender e-address and refrain from giving away their personal information. The company continues to monitor such activities and asks the public to report any suspicious messages immediately so the matter can be acted upon by relevant authorities.

عقدتْ "بريد الإمارات" شراكة استراتيجية مع "هوريكين كوميرس" (Hurricane Commerce)، الشركة الرائدة في توفير حلول التجارة الإلكترونية الآمنة عبر الحدود والتي تتّخذ من المملكة المتحدّة مقراً لها.  وتأتي هذه الخطوة في إطار التزام "بريد الإمارات" بتعزيز خدماتها العالمية في مجال التجارة الإلكترونية لضمان أعلى مستويات رضا المتعاملين، وتحقيق هدفها في أن تصبح شركة عالمية لخدمات البريد والطرود الموجهة في مجتمع الأعمال والمتعاملين، وبالتالي المساهمة في ريادة دولة الإمارات كمركز إقليمي على خارطة التجارة والخدمات اللوجستية العالمية.

وبموجب الشراكة الجديدة، تلتزم "هوريكين كوميرس" بتمكين "بريد الإمارات" من تطبيق حلول بيانات رائدة لوحدة الأعمال الدولية التابعة لها، من أجل تطوير خدمات تلبي احتياجات المتعاملين. ويأتي التعاون بالتزامن مع الجهود المتواصلة التي تقودها "بريد الإمارات" لتوسيع نطاق الاستثمار في الرقمنة عبر كافة أنظمتها وعملياتها الإدارية والتشغيلية، في سبيل تسريع وتيرة التحوّل إلى مشغّل تجاري عالمي.

Emirates Post has entered a strategic partnership with UK-based Hurricane Commerce, a market leader in providing secure cross-border e-commerce solutions, as part of its ongoing efforts to ramp up its global e-commerce services and ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction. The partnership is in line with Emirates Post’s goal of becoming a multinational business-to-consumer (B2C) post and parcel service provider and contribute to enhancing the UAE’s position as a leading global hub for trade and logistics.

Through the partnership, Hurricane Commerce will enable Emirates Post to apply leading data solutions for its international business unit to develop modern services to customers. حاز بيتر سومرز، المدير التنفيذي لـ " بريد الإمارات"، مؤخراً على "جائزة الريادة" خلال حفل توزيع "جوائز البريد والطرود العالمية 2021"، تقديراً لسجلّه الحافل بالنجاح والإنجاز والابتكار. وشهد الحفل الافتراضي الاحتفاء بأبرز الإنجازات النوعية لقطاع البريد، وسط إشادة واسعة بالمساهمات الفاعلة التي قام بها الروّاد والمسؤولون من مختلف أنحاء العالم. ويأتي حصول سومرز على الجائزة العالمية المرموقة تكريماً لإمكاناته القيادية العالية، والتي كان لها الأثر الأكبر في دفع عجلة تطوير قطاع خدمات البريد والطرود والشحنات السريعة على المستويين المحلي والدولي.

In recognition of his long track record of success and innovation, Peter Somers, CEO of Emirates Post, was recently announced as the winner of the Industry Leadership Award during the World Post & Parcel Awards 2021.The virtual event celebrated the success of the post and parcel sector and acknowledged the contribution of industry leaders from all around the world. Somers received the coveted award for his exemplary leadership in advancing the national and international mail, parcels, and express industry.

Upon accepting the award, Somers said: "I am honored to receive this recognition from the World Post & Parcels Awards 2021 committee. My successful journey and modest contribution to the industry is attributed to the continuous support I have received throughout my career from my board members, my shareholders, and the dedicated efforts of everyone in my team. تعاون مشترك لتصميم بطاقات بريدية لقلب الشارقة وتوفير طوابع تذكارية لتزويد   زوّار "مقهى البريد" بتجربة استثنائية 
أعلن "بريد الإمارات" اليوم (الأحد 30 مايو 2021) عن توقيع مذكّرة تفاهم مع هيئة الشارقة للاستثمار والتطوير "شروق"، من أجل توفير إصدارات تذكارية من الطوابع البريدية في "مقهى البريد"، وإتاحتها للبيع أمام الزوّار. وتمّ توقيع الاتفاقية من قبل كل من راشد حريز الفلاسي، المدير التنفيذي بالوكالة لعمليات التجزئة في "بريد الإمارات"؛ وأحمد عبيد القصير، المدير التنفيذي للعمليات في "شروق"، وذلك في قلب الشارقة.

 

ويتمحور نطاق الاتفاقية حول توفير الطوابع التذكارية لـ "مقهى البريد" وتصميم بطاقات بريدية خصّيصاً لقلب الشارقة، المنطقة التراثية في الإمارة، والتي تهدف إلى إعادة إحياء المدينة التاريخية وتحويلها إلى وجهة سياحية وثقافية وتجارية متفردة تروي تاريخ الإمارة العريق، وصَون البيوت الأصيلة والأحياء والمراكز التراثية والفكرية والأدبية، وتسليط الضوء على الهوية الثقافية التي تجمع بين أصالة الماضي وحداثة الحاضر.

وبموجب بنود التعاون، سيوفر "بريد الإمارات" الطوابع التذكارية واستعراض الإصدارات الخاصة منها داخل "مقهى البريد"، الذي يُعد الوجهة الأمثل لهواة جمع الطوابع البريدية والسياح، كما سيعمل الجانبان على التنسيق لتنظيم فعاليات مشتركة في المستقبل. وسيحظى زوّار المقهى بفرصة اختيار البطاقة البريدية المفضلة لديهم وكتابة الرسائل والبطاقات البريدية لعائلاتهم وأحبائهم، مع شراء الطابع وإرسال البطاقة في صندوق البريد المخصص في المقهى.

وقال راشد حريز الفلاسي المدير التنفيذي بالوكالة لعمليات التجزئة: "يمثل تعاوننا الجديد مع "شروق" دفعة قويّة باتجاه تطوير أعمالنا وتقديم كل ما هو جديد ومبتكر من شأنه أن يترك ذكريات سعيدة لدى متعاملينا، وبالأخص هواة جمع الطوابع البريدية، وذلك عبر حزمة من الخدمات والمنتجات المقدّمة وفق أعلى معايير الكفاءة والتميز. وننظر بثقة حيال الاتفاقية المشتركة التي تمهّد الطريق أمام "بريد الإمارات" للوصول إلى مستوىً جديد من الريادة في تصميم وإطلاق مجموعات متميّزة من الطوابع والبطاقات البريدية، والتي تحتفي بالمعالم التراثية والتاريخية والثقافية والحضارية البارزة في دولة الإمارات، بما فيها إمارة الشارقة، إيماناً منّا بأهمية طابع البريد باعتباره وسيلة من وسائل التواصل بين الشعوب من جهة، ودوره المهم في توثيق تاريخ بلادنا من جهة أخرى."

وأضاف الفلاسي: " نمضي قُدماً في تبنّي الابتكار كثقافة راسخة وقيمة جوهرية من شأنها تعزيز بصمتنا الإيجابية وحضورنا القوي كاسمٍ مُرادف للتميّز في توفير خدمات بريدية مبتكرة تحقّق السعادة والريادة محلياً وعالمياً. ونجدّد التزامنا بتوطيد أطر التعاون المثمر مع كافة المؤسسات والجهات، سعياً وراء توظيف إمكاناتنا في خدمة جميع مبادراتهم ودعم تطوير أعمالهم ومنشآتهم.."

وبدوره أوضح أحمد عبيد القصير، المدير التنفيذي للعمليات في "شروق" أن هذه الاتفاقية مع بريد الإمارات تأتي في إطار استراتيجية هيئة الشارقة للاستثمار والتطوير "شروق" الرامية للترويج لوجهاتها السياحية والتراثية بالشراكة مع مختلف الجهات الحكومية والخاصة في الإمارة والدولة، مشيراً إلى أن الطوابع والبطاقات البريدية تمثل إحدى الأدوات الرئيسة لتعريف السياح بالوجهات السياحية والمواقع التاريخية والتراثية، إلى جانب كونها ذاكرة تختزن المنجزات الوطنية وتوثق تاريخها لتنقله إلى لأجيال القادمة، مما يشكّل إلهاماً وحافزاً لهم على العمل والإبداع".

يجدر الذكر أن بريد الإمارات تحرص على إطلاق إصدارات بريدية مشتركة بالتعاون مع شركائها محلياً وإقليماً ودولياً بهدف توثيق أهم المناسبات التاريخية والوطنية وحفظها في الذاكرة الإنسانية وترسيخ أواصر التعاون مع الشعوب والدول الصديقة.

Emirates Post has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), today (Sunday, May 30, 2021) towards the provision of commemorative postage stamps and special edition postcards that will be made available for visitors of “Al Bareed Café”, a unique coffee house located in the Heart of Sharjah.

Rashed Huraiz Alfalasi, Acting Chief Retail Officer at Emirates Post and Ahmed Obaid Al Qaseer, Chief Operating Officer of Shurooq signed the agreement, which paves the way for putting the "Heart of Sharjah" in the spotlight through the creation of distinctively curated postcards.

Heart of Sharjah is noted for being the cultural and heritage district of Sharjah with the mission of preserving and restoring the cultural heritage landmarks and enhancing them to iconic tourism destinations that reflect the emirate’s history, ancestral homes, historic neighborhoods, academic centers and libraries, as well as other iconic locations.

As part of the agreement, Emirates Post will provide commemorative postage stamps and display the special edition postcards at "Al Bareed Café", which is also a favourite venue among philatelists and tourists. Visitors can choose their postcard, buy a stamp, and post them to their families and loved ones through a designated mailbox at the café.

Commenting on the new agreement, Rashed Huraiz Alfalasi said: "Emirates Post has leveraged its strong partnership with leading institutions in the UAE to develop tailored products and services that deliver happiness and memorable moments to our customers, including stamp collectors. We are confident that this tie-up with Shurooq validates Emirates Post’s position in chronicling the history, culture, and achievements of the UAE through designing and launching commemorative stamp and postcard collections. There continues to be a strong appreciation for the principles and values behind sending postcards, writing letters, and using stamps as forms of connecting and communicating with others."

Alfalasi continued: ‘Innovation is one of our core values and we constantly seek new ways to enhance our positive footprint and strong presence as a brand offering tailored postal and express services. On his part, Ahmad Obaid Al Qaseer, COO of the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) said: “The new partnership falls under Shurooq’s strategy to work in collaboration with various state entities to collectively promote Sharjah’s rich Emirati cultural and heritage through its tourism destinations and projects.”

Al Qaseer added: “Postage stamps are known for their distinctive value in carrying forward historical and tourism landmarks to the public and collectors. Our involvement in this initiative allows us to use postage stamps and postcards as a key symbol and tool that communicates Sharjah’s historical significance to current and future generations.”

Emirates Post aspires to launch more joint postage editions in cooperation with local, regional, and international partners, to document the important historical and national events of the country, thereby preserving them in the pages of history.

استقبل محمد سلطان القاضي، رئيس مجلس إدارة شركة "مجموعة بريد الإمارات"، سعادة ماديار مينيلبيكوف، سـفير جمهورية كازاخستان في دولة الإمارات، و مخامبيت ساجاتوف، السكرتير الأول لسفارة كازاخستان، وذلك في المقر الرئيسي لـ "مجموعة بريد الإمارات" في دبي بحضور عبد الله محمد الأشرم، الرئيس التنفيذي للمجموعة. وأكّد الجانبان على أهمية توطيد جسور التعاون الثنائي واستكشاف آفاق جديدة للعمل المشترك، بما يسهم في توطيد العلاقات الثنائية الراسخة بين دولة الإمارات ودولة كازاخستان.

ورحّب محمد سلطان القاضي بالوفد الدبلوماسي رفيع المستوى، مشدّداً على الحرص المستمر على فتح آفاق جديدة للوصول إلى مستوى متميز من التعاون المثمر على كافة المستويات. وثمّن القاضي زيارة سعادة ماديار مينيلبيكوف للاطلاع على الإصدار المشترك بين الامارات وكازاخستان احتفاءً باليوبيل الذهبي لقيام دولة الامارات العربية المتحدة والذكرى الثلاثين لاستقلال جمهورية كازاخستان، في مبادرة نوعية تعكس متانة الروابط الاقتصادية والتجارية والثقافية الأخوية بين البلدين الصديقين وإضافة هامة لمجموعات الطوابع البريدية، والتي تعتبر شكلاً من أشكال توثيق التاريخ الإنساني والعالمي.

Mohamed Sultan Al-Qadi, Chairman of Emirates Post Group Company (EPG), received H.E. Madiyar Menilbekov, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the UAE, and Makhambet Sagatov, First Secretary of the Embassy of Kazakhstan at the headquarters of Emirates Post Group in Dubai in the presence of Abdulla Mohammed Alashram, Group CEO of EPG. Both parties confirmed the importance of promoting and strengthening bilateral relations between the UAE and Kazakhstan.

Al-Qadi welcomed the high-ranking diplomatic delegation and expressed EPG’s keenness to opening new horizons of extensive cooperation between the two entities. Al-Qadi thanked the ambassador for his visit to discuss the joint postage stamp issuance between the UAE and Kazakhstan, which will feature the golden jubilee of the establishment of the UAE and the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The leading initiative further reflects the strength of the economic, trade, and cultural fraternal ties between the two countries and an important addition to the collections of postage stamps, which remain one of the timeless — but nonetheless relevant — forms of documenting both human and world history.

“We are keen to continue enhancing our cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the UAE and contribute to boosting our partnerships in trade and commerce as we leverage our key strengths in providing leading logistics services and innovative postage solutions, thereby encouraging sustainable growth,” Al Qadi said.

أعلنت "إي.زي.دبي"، المنطقة المخصصة بالكامل للتجارة الإلكترونية، والتي تمتاز بموقعها الاستراتيجي في قلب المنطقة اللوجستية بدبي الجنوب، عن ترحيبها بانضمام بريد الإمارات، الجهة الرسمية الرائدة للخدمات البريدية وحلول التوصيل السريع  في الدولة. وكانت شركة بريد الإمارات قد افتتحت مؤخراً مركزاً مخصصاً تبلغ مساحته 33,475 قدماً مربعاً للتعامل مع الطرود والشحنات السريعة المحلية والدولية. ويعدّ هذا المرفق ثاني أكبر مركز للفرز والتسليم للشركة في الإمارات، حيث يتوقع له أن يتعامل مع أكثر من 25% من إجمالي حجم أعمال الطرود والشحنات السريعة خلال السنوات الثلاث المقبلة.

وتمتلك "إي.زي.دبي" كافة المقومات لدعم إطلاق المركز الجديد، من خلال تزويد متعاملي بريد الإمارات في المناطق المجاورة بمتطلبات الشحن الدولية والمحلية التي يحتاجون إليها. وسيعزز هذا المرفق مكانة بريد الإمارات كلاعب رئيسى في سوق التجارة الإلكترونية، وتطوير مختلف قدراته الخاصة بالميل الأول والميل الأخير والتخزين والخدمات المتكاملة والوفاء بمتطلبات متعامليه على النحو الأمثل. وسيضم المركز أيضاً فريقاً متخصصاً للتخليص الجمركي وذلك لدعم حركة عمليات التسليم من المنطقة الحرة إلى السوق المحلية وبقية أنحاء العالم.

يشار إلى أن "إي.زي.دبي"، تعد أول منطقة من نوعها للتجارة الإلكترونية في الشرق الأوسط على مساحة قدرها 9,902,797 قدماً مربعاً، وقد جرى تصميمها لإستقطاب شركات التجارة الإلكترونية الرائدة من شتى أنحاء العالم. وتهدف هذه المنطقة التي أطلقها صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، نائب رئيس الدولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي – "رعاه الله" في يناير 2019 إلى ترسيخ مكانة الإمارة كمركز للتجارة الإلكترونية العالمية.

EZDubai, the fully dedicated e-commerce free zone strategically located in the heart of Dubai South’s Logistics District, is welcoming Emirates Post, the official postal operator and leading express provider in the UAE, which has opened a 33,475 square-feet dedicated facility that will handle parcels and express, domestic and international volumes, and is the company’s second largest sorting and delivery centre in the UAE. The new facility is expected to handle over 25% of total P&E business volumes over the next three years.

EZDubai has all it takes to support the launch of Emirates Post’s new facility by providing its customers in the neighbouring areas with their international and domestic shipping requirements. The new facility at EZDubai strengthens Emirates Post’s position as a major player in the e-commerce market with enhanced first-mile, last-mile, warehousing, and fulfilment capabilities. The centre will also house a dedicated customs’ clearance team to support the movement of deliveries from the free zone to the local market and rest of the world.

In his comments, Mohsen Ahmad, CEO of the Logistics District at Dubai South, said: “At EZDubai, we are always on the lookout to attract the top local and international players in the industry. We are pleased to welcome Emirates Post, and this facility will support the handling and processing of their volumes arriving and departing via DWC and Jebel Ali, along with the development of its road transport network around the region in the years to come. Having the bonded and non-bonded warehouse facilities at Dubai South helps us cater to customers’ demands with our mandate to attract international and local logistics and e-commerce players, boosting the growth of the logistics sector in general.”

The 9,902,797 square-feet, purpose-built e-commerce hub at Dubai South is designed to attract the world’s leading e-commerce companies and create a benchmark with its infrastructure. The e-commerce zone, which was launched in January 2019 by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, aims to promote the emirate’s position as a hub for global e-commerce.
