أعلن بريد الإمارات عن أسماء المتعاملين الفائزين بهواتف أيفون 11 وذلك بعد انتهاء الحملة الترويجية التي اطلقتها مؤخراً بهدف تشجيع المتعاملين على استئجار صندوق بريدي جديد أو تجديد اشتراكاتهم الحالية. وجرى السحب الإلكتروني في المقر الرئيس لمجموعة بريد الإمارات بحضور السيد يوسف محمد صديق الخاجة، المدير التنفيذي لقطاع التجزئة في بريد الإماراتوالسيد راشد حريز الفلاسي المدير التنفيذي لعمليات التجزئة والسيد فتح الله عبد الله مسؤول السحوبات ممثلاً عن دائرة التنمية الاقتصادية في دبي، حيث اختارت القرعة العشوائية 17 متعاملاً للفوز بهواتف أيفون 11.

وانطلاقاً من حرص بريد الامارات على تلبية احتياجات المتعاملين فقد تقرر تمديد مهلة استجار الصناديق البريدية لنهاية شهر مارس.

 

وفي هذه المناسبة، قال يوسف محمد صديق الخاجة، المدير التنفيذي لقطاع التجزئة في بريد الإمارات: "تهدف حملتنا الترويجية الأخيرة إلى تعزيز ثقافة استخدام صناديق البريد وتسليط الضوء على أهميتها والمزايا العديدة التي تقدمها من حيث الكفاءة والسرعة والتكلفة المنخفضة. ونحن سعداء بنجاح الحملة التي آتت ثمارها، حيث أقبل العديد من المتعاملين على استئجار صناديق بريدية جديدة وسارع أصحاب الصناديق البريدية إلى تجديد اشتراكاتهم قبيل الموعد المحدد للعرض. وتعكس هذه المبادرة جهود بريد الإمارات المتواصلة لإسعاد المتعاملين وتوفير قيمة أكبر لهم وتحفيزهم على استئجار صندوق بريدي شخصي للاستفادة من المزايا التي يوفرها واستكشاف تجربة سعادة المتعاملين المتكاملة التي نقدمها انطلاقاً من حرصنا على تلبية تطلعاتهم ومواكبة احتياجاتهم وتقديم خدمات جديدة ومطورة ترتقي بتجربة المتعامل وتجسد التزامنا الراسخ بتحقيق أعلى مستويات السعادة للمتعامل".

 

وشملت مجموعة الفائزين متعاملين من كافة الإمارات السبع حيث فاز من أبو ظبي كل من عبد الكريم حسن علي عبد الله العلي وطلال عفريدي وعبيد مبارك عبيد المحيربي ومن العين حسن محمد نور حسن ومحمد سيف حمد سليمان العامري ومن دبي شيفاني أجيت كيشينشاند وفاردين إسماعيل إسماعيلي وسوزانا فارغيز وعبد الله حسن علي حسن ومن الشارقة نرمين هـ. أ. أبو شعبان ورحمتنيسا موسى أحمد ومن عجمان سالم سعيد خميس حمود القريني ومن أم القيوين سلطان محمد أحمد الجسمي ومن رأس الخيمة مروان محمد أحمد الشحي وعبد الله محمد أحمد علي التميمي ومن الفجيرة محمد خالد محمد المعمري وعيسى راشد محمد الزحمي.

Emirates Post has announced the winners of their PO Box campaign that aimed to encourage customers to rent a new mailbox or renew their existing subscriptions. Due to the high demand, Emirates Post has extended the terms of the postal box rentals until the end of March 2020.

The electronic prize draw took place at Emirates Post Group headquarters. In attendance were: Mr. Yousuf Mohamed Siddiq Alkhaja, Executive Director of the Retail Sector at Emirates Post, Mr. Rashed Huraiz Al Falasi, Executive Director of Retail Operations at Emirates Post, and Mr. Fathallah Abdullah, Senior Representative at the Department of Economic Development in Dubai. The random draw selected 17 customers to win the iPhone 11.

Commenting on the competition, Mr. Yousuf Mohamed Siddiq Alkhaja, Executive Director of the Retail Sector at Emirates Post, said: “This campaign aimed to highlight the advantages of owning a PO Box subscription from privacy and security to the competitive value of using postal services. We are very pleased with the success of the PO Box campaign and look forward to awarding the winners with their prize. The initiative reflects Emirates Post’s continuous efforts to provide customers with greater value and highlight the variety of advantages we bring to elevate the customer experience. It is our firm commitment to achieve the highest level of happiness for our customers, and to deliver happiness with every package and service we provide.”

ولضمان تمكين جميع المتعاملين من التعرف على أقرب موقع لبريد الإمارات، اعتمد بريد الإمارات منصة رقمية لإدارة وتحديد المواقع تتيح الجمع بين مواقع مكتب بريد الإمارات وتوفيرها على مجموعة كبيرة من المنصات الرقمية المتصلة بالإنترنت وغير المتصلة بالإنترنت مثل خرائط جوجل ومحرك بحث جوجل و"أوكي جوجل"، وخرائط آبل و"سيري" وخرائط "هير" و"موقع فيسبوك وخرائط "توم توم" وتطبيقات "واتس أب"و"وي تشات" و"فور سكوير" و"تو جي آي أس" وخرائط "تي إتش تي سي" و"إنستجرام" و"تيليجرام" و"فاكتشوال" و"وات ثري ووردز" و"كريم" و"أوبر" وغيرها من المنصات الرقمية المتنوعة.

 

وتعليقًا على مبادرة الموقع الرقمي لمراكز سعادة المتعاملين، قال بيتر سومرز الرئيس التنفيذي لبريد الإمارات: "لم تعد الخريطة الأساسية الموجودة على الموقع الإلكتروني كافية اليوم. وفي يناير 2020، أشارت بيانات دليل جوجل للأعمال أن فروعنا الـ101 جرى استعراضها على خرائط جوجل أكثر من 9 ملايين مرة. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، وردنا أكثر من 20,000 مكالمة هاتفية إلى الفروع وسجلنا أكثر من 140,000 عملية نقر لتحديد الموقع لمختلف فروع بريد الإمارات خلال الشهر نفسه. وتشير بيانات خاصية النقر لتحديد الموقع أن العملاء يبحثون عن الموقع ويقومون بزيارة الفرع بالفعل. لذلك فإن ضمان توفير البيانات الصحيحة والعنوان وساعات العمل وغيرها من البيانات المهمة بشكل دقيق لكل فرع من فروع بريد الإمارات مسألة بالغة الأهمية من أجل ضمان إسعاد عملائنا وتوفير تجربة متميزة لهم. ولا يقتصر ذلك على جوجل فحسب، إذ يوجد لدينا العديد من الزوار من جميع بلدان العالم تقريباً ممن يستخدمون منصات رقمية مختلفة. وحين يرغب هؤلاء بشراء طابع أو إرسال طرد بريدي، نحرص على خدمتهم وتلبية تطلعاتهم وتمكينهم من التعرف على مواقع فروعنا بسهولة بصرف النظر عن المنصة الرقمية أو الجهاز المستخدم."

ويعتمد برنامج إدارة المواقع الرقمي الخاص ببريد الإمارات على فريق من المتخصصين في تسجيل المواقع الرقمية يعمل على رصد وضمان دقة جميع مواقع بريد الإمارات على مدار العام. ويعمل الفريق المختص على تحديث ساعات العمل لكل فرع خلال شهر رمضان المبارك وعيد الفطر وعيد الأضحى والأعياد الوطنية الأخرى. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، يرصد الفريق قوائم البيانات المكررة وعمليات التحرير التي يقوم بها المستخدمون ويبحث باستمرار عن المزيد من المنصات الرقمية لتسجيل مواقع مكتب بريد الإمارات عليها.

In January 2020, according to our GMB Insights data, our 101 Emirates Post Office branches were viewed on Google Maps over 9 million times alone. In addition, we had over 20,000 phone calls to the branches and more than 140,000 Click to Navigate to our various Post Office branches in that same month. This Click to Navigate data tells us that our customers find the branch and just go there. Ensuring that each Emirates Post branch has the correct contact details, address and operating hours and other important data is essential to ensure our customer experience is a happy one.  It’s just not Google either, we have visitors from nearly every country in the world who use many different digital platforms. When these visitors want to buy a stamp or send a package, we want to be there for them to find our branch locations easily, regardless of digital platform or device.”

Emirates Post digital location management program is supported by a dedicated team of digital location specialists who monitor and ensure the accuracy of all the Emirates Post locations year-round. The team updates location operating hours during Ramadan, Eid and other national holidays. In addition, the team monitors for duplicate listings and user generated edits from the community and constantly on the lookout for more digital platforms to share the Emirates Post Office locations.

بريد الإمارات يصدر طوابع تذكارية للشعار الجديد لأصحاب الهمم بالتعاون مع وزارة تنمية المجتمع 
دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة، 20 فبراير 2020: أعلن "بريد الإمارات" عن إصدار مجموعة طوابع تذكارية مميزة، ترويجاً لتصميم الشعار الجديد لأصحاب الهمم الذي أطلقته وزارة تنمية المجتمع مؤخراً ليتماشى مع الفكرة والرؤية الجديدة لأصحاب الهمم، بما يعزز اندماجهم في محيط مجتمعهم باعتبارهم أفراداً فاعلين ومنتجين.

 

ويصدر بريد الإمارات بالتعاون مع وزارة تنمية المجتمع، 50 ألف طابع تذكاري، ستتوفر ابتداءً من 20 فبراير الجاري في المراكز الرئيسية لسعادة المتعاملين التابعة لبريد الإمارات، إضافة إلى 1000 مغلف لليوم الأول للإصدار.

 

ويأتي تصميم الشعار الجديد تماشياً مع توجيهات صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم نائب رئيس الدولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي رعاه الله، خلال إطلاق سموه السياسة الوطنية لتمكين أصحاب الهمم والرامية إلى تعزيز فرص دمج أصحاب الهمم في مختلف الأنشطة الحياتية والمجتمعية، حيث يحقق الشعار الجديد انتقالاً نحو الاستقلالية، بتصميمه الخالي من الحواف الحادة تعبيراً عن المرونة التي يتمتع بها أصحاب الهمم كأفراد فاعلين ومتحركين ومشاركين في مجتمعهم، عكس الشعار القديم الذي اتسم تصميمه بالسكون والاتكالية.

 

وبهذه المناسبة، أكد سعادة ناصر إسماعيل الوكيل المساعد لشؤون الرعاية الاجتماعية بوزارة تنمية المجتمع، أهمية التعاون مع مختلف الجهات الحكومية والخاصة لإيجاد واقع أفضل يخدم أصحاب الهمم من منظور الرؤية الحكومية والتطلعات التطويرية التي تتبناها وزارة تنمية المجتمع لخدمة هذه الفئة وتحقيق الدمج والتمكين الفعلي لها في المجتمع، مثمناً في هذا السياق؛ جهود بريد الإمارات ودوره في مواكبة التوجهات الوطنية، ومشاركته الجهود الرامية إلى تحقيق التطلعات وتأكيد المكانة المرموقة التي تتمتع بها دولة الإمارات على الساحة الدولية فيما يتعلق بتأكيد وحماية وإعلاء حقوق أصحاب الهمم، وبذل الجهود الكفيلة بتحقيق التمكين ودفعهم للانخراط في المجتمع باستقلاليتهم الكاملة.

 

وقال سعادته: إن دولة الإمارات تسير بخطى واثقة للارتقاء بمعايير رعاية وتمكين أصحاب الهمم، وتقف في طليعة الدول التي راعت حقوقهم وحققت لهم الدمج المجتمعي، بعد منحهم بالأدوات التي تكفل لهم جودة حياة أفضل، وذلك نهج عمل الوزارة بالشراكة والتعاون مع مختلف فئات ومؤسسات المجتمع، على اعتبار أن أصحاب الهمم، مسؤولية وطنية ومجتمعية ذات أولوية مستدامة.

 

وتكمن أهمية الشعار الجديد في تبسيط الخدمات والمعلومات لأصحاب الهمم، حيث يمكن استخدامه في الأماكن والجهات التي تقدم خدمات أو تسهيلات لأصحاب الهمم، الأمر الذي من شأنه تيسير الخدمات المناسبة بحسب نوع الإعاقة، إذ يمكن استخدامه في أماكن مختلفة تدل على هذه الخدمات مثل مراكز وأندية وجمعيات أصحاب الهمم، الفنادق، الحدائق، المطاعم، المقاهي، المطارات، المواقف، وسائل النقل، المرافق الترفيهية والثقافية والاجتماعية الأخرى.

 

 

بدوره؛ أكد سعادة عبد الله محمد الأشرم الرئيس التنفيذي لمجموعة بريد الإمارات بالوكالة، أن دولة الإمارات قطعت شوطاً طويلاً في سعيها نحو تحقيق الدمج الكامل وتمكين وتأهيل أصحاب الهمم ليكونوا شركاء في مسيرة التنمية وعنصراً فاعلاً في المجتمع، وتحقيق التغيير الإيجابي على حياتهم، من خلال تعزيز السياسات الهادفة إلى تكريس مفهوم المجتمع الدامج الخالي من الحواجز والذي يضمن التمكين والحياة الكريمة لهم في مختلف المجالات.

 

وقالسعادة الأشرم: "يبرز الشعار الجديد لأصحاب الهمم توجهات دولة الإمارات ورؤيتها للارتقاء بالمعايير اللازمة لتحقيق الدمج الكامل لأصحاب الهمم، ويجسد إيمانها بقدراتهم وحرصها على حصولهم على فرصهم الكاملة والعادلة والتي تمكنهم من تحقيق كامل إمكاناتهم، ومن هذا المنطلق يفخر "بريد الإمارات" بإصدار هذا الطابع التذكاري، وتأكيد دوره الحيوي في دعم الرؤى والتوجهات الوطنية".

e Ministry of Community Development, the new symbol reflects the latest outlook on disability in the UAE and represents people of determination as active, dynamic vibrant community members.

The design of the new logo is in line with the instructions of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, during the launch of the National Policy for Empowering People of Determination that aims to encourage their social inclusion into varied areas of educational, practical and social life. Unlike the old logo, which portrayed stillness and dependency, the new logo is designed without sharp edges to express the adaptability that people of determination embody when accepting the changes in their lives and recognizes them as active and productive individuals.

On this occasion, His Excellency Nasser Ismail, Assistant Undersecretary of Social Care, emphasized the importance of collaboration amongst various government and private entities to empower people of determination and help them improve their quality of life and achieve social inclusion. Led by the Ministry of Community Development, this initiative is in line with Vision 2021 which aim to maintain a cohesive society and promote an inclusive environment that integrates all segments of society. Emirates Post’s role and efforts are instrumental in furthering the country’s National Agenda and cementing its position on the international front as a major advocate for the self-determination of people with disabilities, as well as a key supporter and protector of their rights.

Commenting on this special issuance, His Excellency said: “As one of the leading countries in the world to support the rights of people of determination, the UAE is continuously raising the standards for embracing them as an integral part of the community and ensuring their social integration. By collaborating and partnering with numerous social organizations and entities, the Ministry of Community Development was able to provide people of determination with a comprehensives range of tools that helps them achieve a better quality of life. We will continue to prioritize them as a national and social responsibility and strive for their full inclusion.”

The importance of the new logo lies is in its ability to facilitate the everyday needs of individuals with disabilities, as it can be used to indicate the locations that provide them with services and facilities. It equally simplifies for their guardians the process of applying for the appropriate services depending on the type of disability, as it can be used in different places and areas such as centers, clubs, people of determination associations, hotels, parks, restaurants and cafes, airports, parking areas, transportation, and other recreational, cultural and social facilities.

His Excellency Abdulla Mohammed Al Ashram, Acting Group CEO of Emirates Post Group confirmed that the UAE has come a long way in its quest to fully integrate, empower and rehabilitate people of determination and enable them to be productive, active members of their communities and positively change their lives. Through policies aimed to promote social inclusion for all, they are guaranteed the right to live with dignity and the chance to achieve their goals.

His Excellency Al Ashram continued: “Emirates Post is pleased to issue this commemorative stamp that confirms our ongoing commitment to support the country’s national vision in advancing the full social inclusion of people of determination and offering them equal opportunities to be active members of society. The new logo shows the UAE’s confidence in the capabilities of people of determination as they transition into independency and self-determination to reach their full potential.”

In cooperation with the Ministry of Community Development, Emirates Post issued 50,000 commemorative stamps that will be available at Central Emirates Post Central Happiness Centers. The local postal services provider is also issuing 1,000 First Day Cover Sheets.

 استضافت مجموعة بريد الإمارات، بالتعاون مع المكتب الدولي للاتحاد البريدي العالمي والأمانة العامة لجامعة الدولة العربية، ""اجتماع المائدة المستديرة بشأن مسألة الأجور في المنطقة العربية"" والذي استضافته مدينة دبي يومي 4 و5 فبراير. 
 استضافت مجموعة بريد الإمارات، بالتعاون مع المكتب الدولي للاتحاد البريدي العالمي والأمانة العامة لجامعة الدولة العربية، ""اجتماع المائدة المستديرة بشأن مسألة الأجور في المنطقة العربية"" والذي استضافته مدينة دبي يومي 4 و5 فبراير.

 

ومن مخرجات الاجتماع تطوير برنامج المساعدة التقنية وخطة التنمية الإقليمية التي يقدمها الاتحاد البريدي العالمي، كما ناقش الحضور أهم القضايا المرتبطة بمسألة نظام الأجور في الدول العربية والمعروف أيضاً باسم نظام الرسوم البريدية النهائية، في ضمان التعويض الذي يُدفَع عن الرسائل البريدية أو الطرود الصغيرة مقابل المعاملة والنقل والتوصيل عبر الحدود. وناقش خبراء نظم الأجور والقضايا التنظيمية والحلول لمواجهة التحديات المستقبلية في المنطقة ومواصلة تطوير خطة الأجور المتكاملة والمساهمة في النهوض بالقطاع البريدي والحفاظ على دوره ودفع مسيرة نجاحه ونموه.

 

وبالإضافة إلى مناقشة نتائج المؤتمر الاستثنائي الثالث وتنفيذ الأجور الجديدة المطبقة على البعائث من المقاس E، تمحورت النقاشات في اجتماع المائدة المستديرة على مراجعة نظم الأجور القائم في الدورة الحالية للاتحاد البريدي العالمي واستعراض خطة الأجور المتكاملة لوضع خارطة الطريق لوضع نظام أجور متكامل.

 

وأكّد سعادة عبد الله محمد الأشرم الرئيس التنفيذي لمجموعة بريد الإمارات بالوكالة أهمية الاجتماع في ظل التغيرات التي يشهدها القطاع البريدي اليوم، وقال: ""يسعدنا أن نستضيف اجتماع المائدة المستديرة للاتحاد البريدي العالمي بشأن الأجور في المنطقة العربية للمرة الأولى في دولة الإمارات حيث وفر اللقاء منصة بارزة لتبادل الآراء والحلول لتعزيز التنسيق والتعاون والتكامل بين خبراء القطاع البريدي من الدول العربية لوضع سياسات وأسس موحدة لرفد القطاع البريدي وتفعيل دور المنطقة ودعمها للاتحاد البريدي العالمي.""

 

وأضاف سعادته: ""ستوفر نتائج هذا الاجتماعمقترحات مهمة لاجتماع المائدة المستديرة العالمية بشأن الأجور والمقرر في مقر الاتحاد في برن يوم 14 من الشهر الجاري، تمهيداً للمؤتمر البريدي العالمي السابع والعشرين والذي سيقام في العاصمة الإيفوارية أبيدجان في وقت لاحق هذا العام. ونتطلع إلى مواصلة التعاون وتكثيف الجهود مع أشقائنا في الدول العربية للخروج بنتائج مثمرة وتطوير سياسات الأجور والتي من شأنها دعم مسيرة تطوير قطاع الخدمات البريدية في ظل تسارع المتغيرات وتزايد تنافسية المشهد."".

 

وحضر الاجتماع كل من سعادة محمد عبد الله الأشرم الرئيس التنفيذي بمجموعة بريد الإمارات بالوكالة والسيد خالد والي، مدير إدارة تنمية اتصالات وتقنية المعلومات بالأمانة العامة لجامعة الدول العربية، والسيد سيفا سوماسوندرام، مدير مديرية السياسة العامة والتنظيم والاسواق في المكتب الدولي البريدي العالمي والسيد المختار الشادلي، المنسق الإقليمي المكلف بالمشاريع في المنطقة العربية، بالإضافة إلى خبراء ومختصين في نظم الأجور من المكتب الدولي التابع للاتحاد البريدي العالمي و40 ممثلاً من الأمانة العامة لجامعة الدول العربية ومؤسسات البريدية العربية ومجموعة من موظفي بريد الإمارات.

Emirates Post Group held a two-day round table on remuneration issues for Universal Postal Union member countries in the Arab region on the 4th and 5th of February 2020 in cooperation with the UPU International Bureau (IB) and the Arab Permanent Postal Commission (APPC).

As part of the Universal Postal Union’s technical assistance programme and regional development plan, the round table addressed several important issues related to remuneration in Arab countries. The postal remuneration system, also known as the terminal dues system, guarantees that Posts are compensated for the cost of handling, transporting and delivering bulky letters and small packets across borders. Experts in remuneration systems and regulatory matters discussed solutions to tackle future challenges and ensure the continuous development of an integrated remuneration plan that contributes to the advancement and growth of the postal sector in the region.

In addition to discussing the results of the third Extraordinary Conference and implementation of the new E-format remuneration, deliberations during the round table centered on reviewing the existing remuneration systems in the current Congress cycle and Integrated Remuneration Plan (IRP) to set the road map for developing an Integrated Remuneration system (IRS).

The round table was attended by HE. Abdulla Mohammed Alashram, Acting Group CEO of Emirates Post Group, Mr. Khaled Wali, Director of Telecommunications Development and Information Technology Department at APPC, Mr. Siva Somasundram, Director of Policy, Regulation and Markets at UPU and Mr. El Moctar Chadli, UPU Regional Project Coordinator for the Arab Region, in addition to experts from the UPU International Bureau, 40 representatives from APPC and postal establishments in Arab countries and, along with a number of participants from Emirates Post.

أعلن بريد الإمارات عن أحدث عروضه لتشجيع المتعاملين على سرعة تجديد اشتراكات صناديقهم البريدية قبل يوم 29 فبراير المقبل وذلك لتجنب التكاليف الإضافية خارج فترة الاشتراك، حيث يتيح لهم التأهل تلقائياً لفرصة الفوز بهاتف آيفون 11، سواء للمتعاملين الجدد أو المشتركين في خدمة الصناديق البريدية.
علن بريد الإمارات عن أحدث عروضه لتشجيع المتعاملين على سرعة تجديد اشتراكات صناديقهم البريدية قبل يوم 29 فبراير المقبل وذلك لتجنب التكاليف الإضافية خارج فترة الاشتراك، حيث يتيح لهم التأهل تلقائياً لفرصة الفوز بهاتف آيفون 11، سواء للمتعاملين الجدد أو المشتركين في خدمة الصناديق البريدية.

ويمكن للمتعاملين الاشتراك أو تجديد الاشتراك في خدمة صندوق البريد عبر أيّ من مراكز سعادة المتعاملين التابعة لبريد الإمارات، أو من خلال الموقع الإلكتروني www.epg.gov.ae، أو باستخدام التطبيق الخاص بالهواتف النقالة، وسيشرف ممثل عن دائرة التنمية الاقتصادية في دبي على السحب وإعلان أسماء الفائزين المحظوظين خلال الأسبوع الأول من شهر مارس.

وتحدث يوسف محمد صديق الخاجه، المدير التنفيذي لقطاع التجزئةفي بريد الإمارات قائلاً: ""تشكل سعادة المتعاملين أهم أولوياتنا في بريد الإمارات، حيث نحرص على تقديم خدمات جديدة من شأنها خلق قيمة أكبر للمتعاملين، ومن هذا المنطلق عملنا على تعزيز رحلة المتعاملين في مراكز سعادة المتعاملين التابعة لبريد الإمارات لضمان خلق تجربة سلسة وسريعة لهم لاستلام شحناتهم البريدية، ويأتي هذا العرض الترويجي لحث المتعاملين على استئجار صندوق بريد أو تجديده قبل الموعد النهائي للاستفادة من المزايا التي يوفرها الصندوق البريد الشخصي"".

وتعتبر التكلفة السنوية للحصول على صندوق بريد شخصي أكثر فائدة وفعالية للمتعاملين الذين يتلقون الطرود بشكل دائم حيث يتحملون 5٪ ضريبة القيمة المضافة على قيمة الشحنة، بينما يدفع المتعاملون من غير أصحاب الصناديق البريدية رسوماً إضافية لكل شحنة مستلمة تتضمن تكلفة استخدام صندوق بريد الجمهور، والرسوم الإدارية فضلاً عن ضريبة القيمة المضافة، وفي بعض الحالات، يتم تطبيق الرسوم الجمركية والتي تحددها الهيئة الاتحادية للجمارك حسب القوانين المعتمدة في دولة الإمارات.
 
وتعد خصوصية بيانات وعناوين الأفراد والمؤسسات إحدى المميزات التي يقدمها صندوق البريد حيث يتم اختيار أقرب صندوق بريد في مركز سعادة المتعاملين التابعة لبريد الإمارات إلى عنوان المنزل أو العمل. كما يتيح بريد الإمارات لمتعامليه خاصية ترقية صندوق البريد ا لخدمة ""منزلي"" وذلك لاستلام جميع شحناتهم البريدية إلىبوابة منازلهم، مع إمكانية الاحتفاظ برقم صندوق البريد الحالي.

Emirates Post is encouraging customers to renew their PO Box before 29 February 2020 to avoid additional costs by offering them the chance to win the latest iPhone 11. Individuals who renew their existing PO Box or subscribe for a new one before 29 February 2020 are automatically eligible to enter the electronic draw.

Customers can rent or renew their PO Box at any Emirates Post Customer Happiness Centre, via the website www.epg.gov.ae or the EPG Mobile Services app. A representative from the Dubai Department of Economic Development (DED) will be overseeing the draw and announcing the lucky winners during the first week of March.

Commenting on this special announcement, Yousuf Mohd Siddiq Alkhaja, Chief Business Officer – Retail at Emirates Post said, “Emirates Post is thrilled to launch this campaign and encourage individuals to rent or renew their PO Box before the deadline to enjoy the many benefits a personal PO Box offers. We have enhanced the customer experience and journey at our Customer Happiness Centres to ensure people encounter a quick and seamless process while managing their mail and parcels. At Emirates Post, customer happiness is a top priority and we are continuously looking at ways of introducing new services and bringing more value to PO Box customers in the near future.”

Having a PO Box in the UAE has many benefits such as reduced charges, secure mail and convenient access.  The yearly cost for having a personal PO Box is more advantageous and cost-efficient for customers who receive mail and parcels on a regular basis. Individuals who have a PO Box only pay 5% VAT on the value of their shipments whereas those who don’t have a PO Box pay additional fees for each shipment received, which include the cost for using a Public PO Box, VAT, as well as admin fees. In some cases, custom fees might apply depending on the shipment type and value, which are determined by the customs authority.

Individuals who prefer to keep their home address private can enjoy the security and privacy that a personal PO Box offers and can choose a convenient location by selecting a PO Box at an Emirates Post Customer Happiness Centre or PO Box shelter nearest to one's home or work address.

Customers living in a villa across the UAE can choose the MyHome option and have their postal shipments delivered to their door. They can also opt to keep their existing PO Box number when upgrading to MyHome subscriptions.

أصدر "بريد الإمارات" مجموعة من الطوابع التذكارية الخاصة احتفاءً بمرور 110 أعوام على بدء الخدمات البريدية في الدولة مع افتتاح أول وكالة بريدية في إمارة دبي.

وبدوره، قال سعادة عبد الله الأشرم المدير التنفيذي لمجموعة بريد الإمارات بالوكالة: "يشكل تاريخ البريد مرجعاً أساسياً للتعرف على الحضارة والعادات الثقافية والاجتماعية للدولة، كما تضطلع الطوابع البريدية بدور بارز في توثيق تراث الدولة وثقافة شعبها على مر العصور، ونفخر بإصدار هذا الطابع التذكاري احتفالاً بمرور 110 عاماً على بدء الخدمات البريدية في الدولة، انطلاقاً مما تحظى به هذه اللحظة من أهمية في التاريخ الاجتماعيوالاقتصادي لدولة الإمارات في تشكيل نقطة انطلاق لانفتاح الدولة على العالم ودور البريد البارز في دفع مسيرة نهضتها".

وبهذه المناسبة، يصدر بريد الإمارات 225 ألف طابعاً تذكارياً، وستتوفر ابتداءً من تاريخ 31 ديسمبر في جميع المراكز الرئيسية لسعادة المتعاملين التابعة لبريد الإمارات، كما يصدر بريد الإمارات 1000 مغلف لليوم الأول للإصدار.

ومرّ التاريخ البريدي في الدولة بحقب عديدة وطرأت عليه تغييرات كثيرة حتى وصل إلى شكله القائم اليوم، واضطلع خلال هذه الفترة بمساهمات عديدة في مسيرة الدولة التنموية، ومن أبرز المحطات التي شهدها تاريخ الخدمات البريدية في الدولة إرسال أول رسالة جوية من بريد دبي عبر مطار الشارقة في العام 1932، وبعد ذلك تم تحويل الوكالة إلى مكتب بريدي يقدم كل الخدمات البريدية في العام 1942، فيما تم إصدار أول طوابع الإمارات المتصالحة في دبي عام 1961، تلاه افتتاح مكاتب بريدية متفرقة في الإمارات الأخرى خلال عامي 1963 و1964.

وبعد قيام اتحاد دولة الإمارات، تم إنشاء إدارة عامة للخدمات البريدية تابعة لوزارة المواصلات في عام 1972، ثم إصدار أول مجموعة طوابع بريدية تحمل اسم دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة في العام 1973، وهو العام الذي شهد انضمام دواة الإمارات إلى الاتحاد البريدي العالمي. وفي العام 1985 تم إنشاء الهيئة العامة للبريد، قبل صدور القانون الاتحادي بتأسيس مؤسسة الإمارات للبريد "بريد الإمارات" عام 2001، وفي عام 2006 تم اختيار دولة الإمارات من قبل الاتحاد البريدي العالمي لاستضافة المؤتمر الاستراتيجي في دبي وذلك للمرة الأولى خارج مقر الاتحاد البريدي العالمي.

وصدر القانون الاتحادي لإنشاء مجموعة بريد الإمارات في العام 2013، والتي حصلت على لقب الإدارة البريدية الأولى في العالم في تحقيق معايير المواصفة الدولية في تميز الخدمات من المعهد البريطاني للمعايير الشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا في العام 2016، وفي ذات العام، حققت أسرع خدمة تسليم بريدية في العالم وفق المؤشر المتكامل للتنمية البريدية، وفي العام 2018 حصلت دولة الإمارات على المرتبة الثامنة بين افضل عشر دول في العالم والأولى في المنطقة العربية في خدمات البريد السريع الدولي، وخلال عام 2019، تم استحداث استراتيجية تغيير وتطوير الأعمال لتلبية متطلبات سوق البريد العالمي وضمان استمرارية نمو الأعمال والحفاظ على مكانة البريد كمؤسسة رائدة تفخر بخدمة دولة الإمارات.

Emirates Post issued a series of distinctive commemorative stamps to celebrate 110 years of postal services in the country, which began with the opening of the first postal office in Dubai.

Commenting on this special issuance, **HE Abdulla Mohammed Al Ashram, Acting Group CEO of Emirates Post Group** said **: "**The Post's history plays a prominent role in introducing the civilization as well as the cultural and social traditions of the country, and documenting with stamps the heritage and customs of its people throughout time. We are proud to issue this commemorative stamp to celebrate 110 years of the launch of postal services in the UAE and the impact it had on the social and economic history of our nation, marking the moment when it began opening up to the world and the importance of Post in advancing its development."

On this occasion, Emirates Post issued 225,000 commemorative stamps along with 1,000 First Day Cover Sheets available starting December 31at all Emirates Post Central Customer Happiness Centers.

The UAE's postal history went through different phases and underwent many changes until it reached its current formation today, contributing in various aspects to the country's development along the way. One of the Post's most prominent historic milestones was in 1932 when the first letter was posted by 'airmail' from Dubai Postal Agency via Sharjah Airport. In 1942, the agency transformed into a fully integrated post office providing customers with all postal services, with the first stamps issuance of the Trucial States in Dubai in 1961 followed by the opening of post offices in the other Emirates in 1963 and 1964.

After the unification of the Emirates, the General Directorate of Postal Services was established under the Ministry of Communications in 1972, followed by the issuance of the first set of commemorative stamps bearing the name of the United Arab Emirates in 1973, which also marks the year the United Arab Emirates joined the Universal Postal Union. In 1985, the General Postal Authority established before the 2001 Federal Decree to create the Emirates Postal Establishment (Emirates Post) was issued. In 2006, the United Arab Emirates was selected by the Universal Postal Union to host a strategic conference for the first time outside Universal Postal Union's headquarters.

In 2013, the Federal Law to establish "Emirates Post Group" was issued and in 2016, EPG received the title of the first postal entity worldwide to receive the International Standards for Service Excellence certification from the British Standards Institution (BSI) Middle East and Africa. In the same year, the company achieved the fastest postal delivery service in the world according to the Integrated Index of Postal Development. In 2018, the UAE was ranked 8th in the world's top 10 countries and the first among Arab countries for International Express Mail Services. In 2019, Emirates Post deployed a Business Transformation Strategy to meet global industry demands, secure continued business growth, and maintain its position as a leading postal organization proudly serving the UAE.
